The Y has always been a place where family and community come together to develop healthy minds, bodies and spirits. As the world continues to deal with the unknown effects of COVID-19 we want you to know we are here for you and are committed to your health and well-being.
Keeping your body fit and your mind healthy is one of the most important things we can do to boost our immune systems to help fight sickness. In these unprecedented times, we are opening up our virtual doors to our entire community and invite you and your families to join us on a mission to stay healthy.
Y360 ON DEMAND GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES
During this time of uncertainty, the Y is here for you. The Y continues to be your support for health and well-being, wherever you are. Regular exercise is one component of a healthy lifestyle that can help reduce stress and prevent illness. While we would love to see you at the Y, we have been mandated by the Governor of Kentucky to temporarilly close. We have a variety of at-home exercise options for members to use called Y360.
The YMCA 360 project is a collaboration between Greater Wichita YMCA, YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties, YMCA of Greater Houston, YMCA of Greater Charlotte and YMCA Twin Cities.
You can take group exercise classes for all ages right in your own home at no charge for a limited time! There are also sports classes and more for our young people. An energetic, high intensity workout that is always changing and focuses on cardio and strengthening exercises.
Barre combines Pilates, yoga and ballet moves to give you beautiful, sculpted, lean muscles – without the impact of traditional dancing.
Learn the basics of core Olympic lifts with professional instruction and demonstration.
Our homegrown boxing program, YBOX is a total-body workout featuring the basics of boxing from punching and elbow strikes to footwork and defense.
YOUTH SPORTS PERFORMANCE
A program for young athletes to help develop overall athleticism and reduce injuries. Use these at-home drills to help take your skills to the next level.
Learn and master movements that serve to increase blood flow, balance, flexibility, strength, relaxation and mind-body connection.
ACTIVE & AGELESS ADULTS (55+)
A low intensity, low impact workout designed for those with joint challenges.
This unique martial arts is for all ages and fitness levels. Tai Chi promotes strength, coordination, posture, concentration, and energy level.
Our youth sports program designed to develop basic soccer skills and drills for all levels.
